No one ever believes me when I tell them I'm a real live Florida native. Yep, some of us aren't snowbirds!
Anyone who knows me knows that I LOVE to cook! My family is Cuban and Sicilian, so Latin and Italian foods are some of my favorites, but I love to try new recipes and dishes as often as I can... Got a recipe you think I should try? Send it to me!
Some of my other interests are baseball (Go Rays!), wine, eating (hey, it goes with the cooking!), music, travel, and Boston, my cat. I also LOVE zombie shows--The Walking Dead on AMC is one of my favorites, and I'm also into Breaking Bad, The Food Network, HGTV and The Travel Channel.
Marriage Secret #296: Drink.
"Couples who share a bottle of wine at least once a week enjoy marital life far more than those who steer clear of alcohol," according to recent research summarized in the Daily Mail.
Women were four times more likely to be happy if they drank at least once a week with their partner than if they never do.
Moderate drinkers who enjoyed alcohol together at least once a week were the most satisfied of all with 91 per cent enjoying each other’s company.
On the flipside though, this logic only holds up if both parties are drinking the same amount. If one of you is drunk while the other is still sober, that would probably have the opposite of the desired effect. And if you absolutely must be drunk/drinking to enjoy your partner's company, it's probably time for some therapy. Moderation is key!
That being said, grab a bottle of wine on your way home from work today and see where the night takes you! ;)
